Mr. Doty is President of Odessa Services International, a privately held company for real estate and financial investments in Canada, Europe and the United States. He is also President of Omega Realty Ltd., New South Developments Ltd., and Gama Dimensions Ltd., privately held companies in the field of real estate development and operation. From 1962 to 1992 Mr. Doty was Owner/President of W.B. Bailey Ltd., a mechanical contractor.
Mr. Doty served as Commanding Officer (Major) of the 84th Independent Field Battery, Canadian Militia, 1970-1980 and is now Honorary Commanding Officer. In 1967 he served in the Royal Canadian Horse Artillery in Germany as the first of three militia lieutenants to be attached to the NATO exercise.
Dedicated to enhancing community life in Yarmouth and area, Mr. Doty serves in a leadership capacity on numerous business and community boards. His current volunteer commitments include: Director, Yarmouth Area Industrial Commission; Secretary, Yarmouth Development Corporation; Board of Stewarts, Beacon United Church; Life Member, Yarmouth Historical Society.
