Mr. Henley has almost thirty years of experience with construction labour including eleven years in a leadership capacity as President of the Mainland Nova Scotia Building and Construction Trades Council and twenty-one years as business-manager/agent for the United Association of Journeyman Plumbers and Pipefitters. He served ten years with the NS Apprenticeship Board and has worked with First Nations people, local unions and the Department of Education on matters of training to obtain trade union membership. Mr. Henley was labour relations manager, BBA Joint Venture Goldboro Gas Plant 19981999 and has also owned and operated a small lumber business, which sawed hardwood for flooring and cabinetry for sale offshore.
