With 12 years of diverse leadership experience as a doctor of veterinary medicine and the recent completion of a graduate program focused on public and environmental policy, Kip brings to the committee a unique perspective on issues relating to biodiversity and the health of the animal component of the province's natural resources. He is a veterinarian working in a small animal practice within HRM and has plans to pursue a career in public and environmental policy analysis and natural resource management. Kip sees great value in resource management plans that balance economic growth and prosperity with long term sustainability and overall ecological health. A member of both the Canadian and Nova Scotia Veterinary Medical associations, Dr. Grasse represents the provincial association on the board of directors of the Nova Scotia Society for the Prevention of Cruelty.
